چکیده
The aim of the research was to determine effects red ginseng root powder on performance, immune system, caecal microbial population and some blood parameters in broilers. A total 224 daily Ross 308 male broiler chicks were divided into one control group three experimental groups each containing 56 chicks. Red added diets at level 0, 75, 150 225 mg/kg, respectively. period 38 days. There no differences growth performance. Addition mg/kg increased relative weight percentages spleen gizzard (P<0.05). Ginseng supplementation didn’t affect biochemical antibody titers serum. values haemoglobin, leukocytes, cell distribution width mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration fed diet supplemented with significantly (P<0.001). count Lactobacillus spp. caecum (P<0.05) 75 addition. As a result, improvements provided organ hematological addition Further studies are required evaluate bioavailability active compounds its various doses immunity, antioxidant potential intestinal microflora under stress conditions poultry.

The effects of dietary supplemental guanidinoacetic acid (GAA) on performance, biochemical indices and meat pH of broilers with cold-induced ascites were studied. A total of 640 day-old male broiler chicks (Cobb 500) were assigned to four dietary treatments including control diet; control diet supplemented with either 0.6, 1.2 or 1.8 g of GAA per kg of feed. Each treatment was replicated in 8 b...
